Metrology lab and quality control

The metrology and quality control lab is equipped with state of the art instruments and supported by two inspectors: one deals with production process statistics, the other is responsible for final quality controls and the documents to be sent with the finished product.

The metrology lab is also equipped with a 20° temperature control system.

The different types of instruments include:

Hexagon Dea GLOBAL Advantage shop floor coordinate measuring machine (CMM) with measuring range:

- - (X) 900 mm
  - (Z) 800 mm
  - (Y) 2000 mm
This machine is provided with PC-DMIS software for the dimensional control of any mechanical component, even off-line, in a virtual environment, importing complex 3D models and interface with CAD/CAM for simulated programming.

Primary machine accredited by ACCREDIA calibration centre for in-house self certification, Taral 1000 with accuracy 1.5 + L(mm)/300

Galileo durometer to test Brinell, Rockwell, Vickers harnesses
