Our scheduling department, the real heart of the technological evolution of the equipment and of the latest developments of toolmaking manufacturers, is equipped with a powerful next generation Cam-Cad system that can generate sophisticated and intelligent 3D tool paths for the production of the most complex three-dimensional models. Dedicated High Speed Machining (HSM) processes and smoothing functions to smooth out the tool path make it possible to generate very efficient ISO paths. Calculation times are very rapid and the product code optimisation algorithms reduce the machine processing times.

The tool path can be checked later on the display, using the real kinematics function of the machine tool currently in use. Tools, brackets, and fastenings can be checked by viewing the kinematics. Any interference with the rough material, tool, tool holder or other parts of the machine tool is checked and highlighted by the system in real time.

All part-programs, bills of materials and information generated are then sent directly to the numerical control of the machine via Wi-Fi with drag-and-drop technology and saved in icloud.

The main functions of the cad-cam system include:

Importing of three-dimensional solid models (IGES, CATIA v4 & v5, Pro-E, UG, STEP, Solid Works, Solid Edge, ACIS, DXF, DWG, STL and VDA);
Creation and modelling of 3D solids;
Automatic recognition of machining;
Roughing cycles - high speed finishing;
Multi-axis machining, 2.5 to 5 axes in a continuous cycle.
